Five brass portrait shank buttons depicting 1848 Whig candidate Zachary Taylor. Each reads, "Rough & Ready". Various portraits and surround. Each reverse varies. Two read, "The Hero of Buena Vista." One reads, "The Hero of Monterey".

Condition

All in good condition. Light pitting. Few exhibit light oxidation on reverse. Shank pin loose on two.
