Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A pair of river cobble stones carved into finely-shaped representational animals and painted a sage green. One is a quadruped of some kind; maybe a dog? The other is a passerine bird with a long beak. Size: 4.6" L x 3.75" H (11.7 cm x 9.5 cm)
