Item Details

Description

Meriden Britannia Company (American, 1895-1898) and Smith Brothers Glass, fourth quarter 19th century. A Victorian milk glass celery vase slightly waisted and cylindrical flaring at rim and base decorated with a winter landscape scene including a barn, trees and snow resting in a twin handled quadruple plate silver base. The vase apparently unmarked. The underside of base hallmarked with early Meriden B. Company mark QUADRUPLE PLATE and design number "59". Approximate height overall 10.75", width 8.62".
