Description
A lot of cullet glass from the Phoenician city of Tyre, Roman, 1st - 4th Century AD, in a shade of translucent green which was for export to be re-melted and turned into bottles at a different locality. A sea find with some remnants of sea encrustation. Sizes: 90 x 75 x 58mm, 50x 48 x 27mm and 55 x 35 x 48mm. An interesting group that is very seldom offered. Ex Wash DC private collection.
