Description
Seated Luohan made in a Shiwan kiln from the 19th - 20th Century. The Luohan is open mouthed wearing a beige robe and grasping his shin with both hands. The robe has a glossy glaze while the skin of the Luohan is left with a matte texture. His eyebrows are long and his face deeply lined. On the base of the piece is a seal mark and description.
Dimensions are 6 1/4 inches wide by 8 5/8 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good overall condition. The eyebrows have been broken off around the temples and one eyebrow appears to have been repaired.
