This brass helmet has a leather strap across the chin. The strap is covered by interlocking brass circles and affixed to the helmet with floral medallions. The center medallion has a three leaf clover, enameled green with red crowns over a red 'x' and surrounded by a blue circle with the words "Qui Separabit" within it. The helmet is crested with white hair.

History: A cavalry regiment raised in 1685, it remained relatively unchanged in name or division for two hundred and fifty years before an amalgamation into the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards in 1922. Their largest claim to fame is to have engaged with German troops for the first time in World War One, having fired the first British shots and killed the first German soldier.
