Description
America, middle of the 19th century. An exceedingly rare doll of fabric stuffed with sawdust, head, hands and feet of clay painted black with added white and red pigment for mouth, eyes and teeth. He is attired in purple polka-dot pants, yellow undershirt and tan jacket/ waist-coat. This figure probably represents a minstrel. An incredible example seldom seen this nice! Custom stand. Size: 11.5" H (29.2 cm)
