The standing figure is mold-made, with a Son Reinte, or Laughing Face. He is standing with arms upraised, wearing a skirt, a beaded necklace with central pendant, and a tall, squared temple-style headdress with a knot design on either side. He is further accentuated with painted bands and tassels in red, orange, and cream on the buff terra cotta base. The traditional votive statuary frequently sees such molded statues in two pieces, where the head and body come from separate molds and are joined together. This example appears to be one single frontal mold.
