Description
Germany, Munich (Munchen), after 1888 CE. Finely crafted silver handled cup. Slightly tapered cup with 5 concentric incised bands toward the top, handle using squared wire incised with name "Risford" -- an old German name. The bottom is hallmarked Munchen 800 with crown and crescent moon identifying this as being made after 1888. 74.5 grams. Size: 2.75" H (7 cm).
Provenance: Ex- Collection of Paul and Louise Bernheimer, Cambridge, MA and Laguna Woods, Ca. Acquired before 1980
