A lovely pair of ceramic bowls, one from the Nazca culture of ancient Peru, the other from the Native American Hopi culture. The Nazca bowl is a beautiful polychrome example with stylized geometric designs painted in hues of russet and chocolate brown adorning the cream-slipped walls. The Hopi piece is a stunning bichrome black and white piece with intricate stylized geometric motifs gracing its walls. Both bowls have aged quite gracefully.
