Description
Roman, ca. 2nd to 4th centuries CE. This is a beautiful delicate piece of Roman blown glass work in the form of an aryballos, a round-bodied vessel with a narrow neck and flared, flat rim; this particular example has two applied handles. The body of the vessel has an almost marble-like quality of white swirl in the bluish glass. Size: 2.8" W x 2.7" H (7.1 cm x 6.9 cm)
