ENGLISH TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, (UPDATED 6/14/16) in blue with variations on the "blue willow" design, comprising one unmarked two-handled small soap or condiment dish; one unmarked serrated-edge leaf-shaped dish with short handle; one unmarked one-handled soap dish; and one oval-shaped, printed in blue, with an "x" shaped molded divider, having a chinoiserie design, impressed "TURNER / 5" to underside. Staffordshire and other areas. 19th century. 1 1/2" x 5 3/8" x 4 1/2", 6 3/4" x 5 1/4", 6 1/4" x 5 5/8", 6 1/8" x 3 1/8".
One is in excellent, undamaged condition with very minor scratching to underside; one hairline crack to the leaf-shaped dish and three tiny chips to rim and handle of the same dish, all with minor wear and rubbing.
