Dechaux / New York". Housed in a period ripple-molded giltwood frame. Second quarter 19th century. 20 1/2" x 16 1/2" sight, 24 1/2" x 20 1/2" OA.
Moderate craquelure throughout. A few small areas of flaking/surface losses to paint. Old small repair with associated inpainting at lower right edge. Scattered minor inpainting throughout. Wear to surface of frame.
