HEIRS OF JOHANN BAPTIST HOMANN (GERMAN, 1664-1724) SEGMENTED MAP OF THE ATLANTIC COAST, hand-colored engraving on paper, depicting Newfoundland, Canada; Virginia and Maryland; New England, New York, and New Jersey; and Carolina and Florida; titled "Dominia Anglorum in America Septentrionali". Published in Nuremburg, 1745. Retains early hand-coloring. Professionally matted and housed under glass in a modern frame. Circa 1745. 20" x 22" image, 26 1/8" x 28" OA.
Good visual condition with overall even toning, scattered areas of foxing/spotting, and light center vertical fold line. Not examined out of frame.
