A Russian gilded silver and shaded cloisonné enamel serving spoon, Vasily Agafonov, Moscow, circa 1899-1908, the back of the ovoid bowl enameled with a stylized tulip within brightly-colored scrolling foliage within white beaded borders against a stippled gilt ground, the twist handle with mitre finial enameled in shades of blue and white. Length 8 in. (21 cm)
