Description
With inscribed scabbard. Having a curved 26-1/2" blade with no fullers. Stirrup hilt with integral lion head languets. Lion head pommel with integral back strap. Wire-wrapped ribbed ivory grip. Contained in steel scabbard with two ring mounts and hanging rings. Inscription near top reading: S. Brunn/Sword Cutler/to H.R.H. the/Prince of Wales/56/???????/London. Blade showing wear and pitting. Hilt with wear commensurate with age. Scabbard showing wear, pitting and rust deposits. Condition (Good).
