Description

Exquisite Dutch Marquetry chest of draws. The workmanship is incredible with birds, foliage and scrollwork inlaid into walnut. It is very heavy and solid and has had slight restoration to the marquetry on the side panels. With time and temperature fluctuation, the inlay starts to part reinforcement is necessary. There work is remarkably preserved considering the intricacy of it. it is a bombe shape. Dimensions: 35 1/2 x 39 x 33 inch.

Condition

It has been reinforced in the side panels.
