BARTOLOME ESTEBAN MURILLO (1618-1682) OIL ON PANEL Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (Spanish, Seville 1618-1682), oil on oak panel, "Coronación de la Inmaculada" (Coronation of the Immaculate), depicting the Virgin Mary with the Holy Trinity, signed "B.E. Murillo / 1677" in the upper right corner; paper adhered to verso reads the title, "Capillas de Toussaint / A mi querido amigo (To my dear friend) Don Justino Neve", a wealthy Canon of the Seville Chapel who served as a life long friend and patron to the artist. Artist's name in upper right on verso. Provenance: From a private South Florida estate.
