Copyright dates 1931, first editions, first printings. Two volumes set. Gold lettering and design on the front and on the spine. Top page edges Gilted gold with some scratchs on volume 1, for edge pages are not cut. Illustrated with black-and-white photographs and numerous maps. Some light foxing to the pages. Exterior boards shows some scratchs on the front and more so on the back of volume 1 and 2. No dust jackets. Text and illustrations are bright and clean, bindings are secure, a solid collectible set of books from just one of World War One Heroes
