Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 3rd century BCE. This is a two-part mold made depiction of a bust with sweet facial features, curly hair, and plump cheeks. This type of pottery item may represent a copy of a larger statue that could be displayed in the home of the average Roman with an appreciation for statuary. Size: 2.65" W x 4" H (6.7 cm x 10.2 cm)
