Description
Sensitive portrait of a Geisha done on a pillow vase by Bruce Horsfall in 1894. Marks include the Rookwood logo, which indicates the date, shape 707 B, an impressed W for White clay and the incised monogram of the artist. Uncommon subject with great color, glaze and contrast. There is faint overall crazing. Height is 5 7/8 inches.
