CHAMINADE CECILE: (1857-1944) French Composer and Pianist. Vintage signed postcard photograph of Chaminade seated in a half length pose. Signed ('C. Chaminade') in fountain pen ink to the image, partially across a darker area, and dated March 1911 in her hand. Chaminade has also added an A.M.Q.S. to the verso, being five bars of music neatly penned on a holograph stave, marked Allegretto (in C) and identified as Pastorale in her hand. Signed and dated Tamaris sur mer, Var, 21st March 1911 in her hand alongside the quotation.
