3 Small Miniature Portraits of Napoleonic Era Ladies. 1st item: Ovoid print of a woman depicted with bare shoulders and brown upswept hair. Housed in an ornate gold plastic frame. Sight: 2 5/8" H x 1 3/4" W. Framed: 8" H x 5 3/4" W. 2nd item: Pastel drawing on brown paper of a woman with clasped hands resting on her right shoulder and brown upswept hair. Housed in a gilt wooden frame. Sight: 8 1/2" H x 8 1/2" W. Framed: 9 3/4" H x 9 1/2" W. 3rd item: Oil on board painting of Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Queen Consort of Prussia (1797-1810), depicted in Empire style dress with red robe descending a staircase after an ideal portrait by Gustav Richter (German, 1823-1884). "Queen Louise" written on back of board. Housed in gilt wooden frame. Sight: 5 3/8" H x 3 3/4" W. Framed: 7 1/2" H x 5 3/4" W. Provenance: Estate of Mrs. Mary Ann Bowers Thomas, Athens, Alabama. 1st item: Overall excellent condition. 2nd item: Numerous paint chips on frame. 3rd item: Paint chips, bottom left and top right corner, portion of frame missing, bottom left corner, board partially held in place by two yellow thumbtacks attached to back of frame.
