A COLLECTION OF THREE ROYAL COPENHAGEN POLYCHROME PAINTED PORCELAIN BIRD FIGURES, GREEN AND BLUE MAKER'S MARK, 20TH CENTURY, each painted in a pastel color palette of blue, neutral brown, dusty grays, and greens, and with the green underglaze crown Royal Copenhagen hallmark underfoot, the collection comprising a large "Pheasant," no. 1881, reversing to an underside stamped "1881" above maker's mark and blue triple wave beside blue painter's uppercase initials "SM" over green "1881," the rim embossed "3J," height: 7 1/2", length: 12 1/2"; "Pair of Kingfishers," no. 1769, originally designed by Peter Herold, "Herold" incised designer's signature on base reversing to an underside with maker's mark above blue triple wave over green "1769" alongside blue painter's uppercase initials "DH," the rim embossed "E3," height: 6 3/4"; and "Redwing on Grapes" or "Robin," no. 1235, originally designed by Jais Nielsen, "JN" embossed monogram on base reversing to an underside stamped "1235" mirroring the same number in green under a blue triple wave alongside a column of double blue crosses below the maker's mark, height: 5".
