AMERICAN COIN SILVER FLATWARE, LOT OF 16, comprising twelve 6 3/4" breakfast forks marked for Fessenden Bros., of Providence, RI, two forward-tipped fiddle back salt spoons marked "A. B WARDEN", most likely for Abijah B. Warden, of Philadelphia, PA, a 6" forward-tipped fiddle back spoon with early Harvard University seal to handle and marked for Moses Morse, of Boston, MA, and a 6" teaspoon marked for S. N. Story, of Worcester, MA. Total weight: 17.76 ozt. 19th century.
Excellent condition, except salt spoons with some dents and bending.
Provenance: From the collection of Gordon and Hildreth Wheeler, Keswick, VA. Items descended from the Scott and McCray families of Richmond, VA.
