Description
Borneo, ca. late 19th to mid 20th century CE. This is a pair of Dayak "Mandau" swords, each having carved stag horn handles and black hair plumes. The grips are bound with woven rattan thread and the blades have an edge on one side. Each has a utility knife sheath. Size: 29" L x 4" W (73.7 cm x 10.2 cm)
