This mantle clock by ‘Kieninger & Obergfell’ is an interesting piece from the time around 1970 which is based on the ATO principle. The electric clockwork was converted to 1.5 V battery operation; type AA. The brass casing has four glass sides. The front glass door shows an index with lines and numbers. The clockwork is signed ‘Kieninger & Obergfell‘ on the reverse and is additionally inscribed.
The mantle clock is in a good condition with small traces of age and use. The verso glass door is slightly damaged at the upper right side. The clock measures 28 x 16 x 14 cm (height x width x depth). It is fully functional; but long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. (cbo)
