Description
French Empire gilt bronze mantle clock, circa 1820, surmounted by two lyres flanked by a male troubadour and female with lyre, the dial having Roman numerals, the body with figural and military trophy panels, on front block feet with anchors, apparently unmarked, the mechanism stamped "1686" and "64".

Some loss of gilding mainly to the back, angled lyre a later addition replacing a sheet of music, restoration to the male musician, previously fitted with four elements to the base, clock is not in working condition - would recommend a
