Hopi pueblo Kachina doll c. 1940's - 50's, Cottonwood, well-carved, with detailed painting on the bandolier, kilt, and rain sash. Ex. Harlan Collection, San Diego. Origin: Native American / American Indian / Southwest / Arizona. Dimensions: 11.5 in. tall x 4.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
Condition
Wear to paint consistent with age, legs appear stabilized where attached to torso just below kilt, toes of both feet cracked & re-glued (tight-flitting, very difficult to see).
