Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. This is a carved pottery head with applied elements to create the classic "coffee bean" eyes, large earrings, long thin nose, and headband. This was most likely part of a larger flat figure from the West Mexican shaft tomb culture. Size: 2-1/4" H x 2-1/4" W x 1/4" L (6 cm x 6 cm x 1/2 cm) + custom stand.
