Description
A comical charichature bronze depicting Don Quixote. Published in 1605, Don Quixote is considered the most influential work of literature from the Spanish Golden Age. It follows the adventures of Alonso Quixano, a man who reads so many chivalric novels that he decides to set out to revive chivalry, undo wrongs, and bring justice to the world, under the name of Don Quixote. This sculpture is made of bronze and depicts Quixote standing proudly with a staff. The figurine is 7 1/2" excluding his staff. He is well cast with nice attention to detail.
