Description
RIBBED SWIRL MINIATURE LAMP, cased burnt orange with gilt decoration, diamond-form font with diagonal ribbing, matching pattern umbrella-form shade of slightly lighter color and embossed with band of acanthus leaves to shoulder, brass collar. Fitted with a period Nutmeg burner, colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 7 3/4" H to top of shade, 4" H to top of collar, 3 1/4" x 4" overall base.

Condition
Font with flakes/roughness to four corner ribs, shade fitter with a minute flake at a broken bubble, possibly occurring during manufacture. Setup undamaged, chimney rims with normal roughness, as made.
