EMBOSSED RIBBED SWIRL AND MEDALLION PATTERN MINIATURE LAMP, opaque yellow with satin finish, square-form font with medallions on each side, colorless applied base with five raised toes, each with shell pattern, matching rib patterned umbrella-form shade, period collar with patent information. Fitted with a period Nutmeg burner, colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 8 1/4" H to top of shade, 4 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 1/4" D base.
Undamaged, toe tips with roughness, as made, shade with hard-to-see tiny scattered specks of white paint, top rim edge with several minute spots of undissolved metal, as made. Burner and chimney undamaged, one shade arm with a repair.
