Description
RIBBED SWIRL MINIATURE LAMP, cased lemon yellow with gilt decoration, diamond-form font with diagonal ribbing, matching patterned umbrella-form shade with an embossed band of acanthus leaves to neck, brass collar. Fitted with a Plume & Atwood Nutmeg burner with thumbwheel marked with patent date, colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 7 3/4" H to top of shade, 4" H to top of collar, 3 1/4" x 4" overall base.

Condition
Excellent condition, font undamaged, shade with a sliver flake to the tops interior of opal casing, probably as made, expected wear to gilt decoration. Setup undamaged, chimney rims with normal as-made roughness.
