Description

Pair of Cast Aluminum Garden Urns in the Renaissance Revival Taste, first half 20th century, probably French, the tapered bases decorated with pots of sunflowers and molded pierced corner scrolls, trimmed with anthemia, each side with panels of scrollwork and handles in the form of helmeted heads on scrolled plinths, h. 44", dia. 16-3/4".

Condition

Light oxidation and corrosion to urn interiors and accretion (dirt) throughout as to be expected with outdoor use. Some flaking to exterior paint. Structurally sound, and in overall good condition. NOTE: These urns are cast aluminum, not iron.
