A Cloisonné Plate, 18th Century.
This cloisonné plate has blue, pink, green, and red enamel on bronze. In the center of the plate is a Shou symbol. The plate is 11 1/2 inches in diameter. Condition: It is in good condition with one small rough spot on the rim. The bronze is tarnished from age.
Provenance: From a Washington DC estate, formerly in the collection of Mr. Marcel Baudez who was the French Consul General in Shanghai from November 1938 until May 1940 and the Fall of France to Nazi Germany.
