Ancient Greece, ca. 5th century CE. An ancient Greek bronze bowl/phiale, of a shallow form with a rounded bottom with a side wall that corsets to a concave band just beneath the rim, likely used for offerings or libations. A lovely example that has developed a stunning green patina over the years. Size: 6.25"in diameter x 2" H (15.9 cm x 5.1 cm)
Provenance: Ex-private New Jersey collection formed between 1960 and 1985
