Description: Blade length: 32.5". Double edged with three small fullers on each side of the upper quarter of blade. A D guard with a horn grip, iron strapping pinned to the grip. "V" shaped decorated langet below the grip. May have been engraved but not legible.


History: Langet: In some swords, an extension of the guard located on the flat of the blade, designed to fit tightly over the mouth of a scabbard and prevent accidental unsheathing.
