Velazquez Hands elegantly showcases both Brown’s impeccable draftsmanship and his compositional prowess. The print depicts an assortment of disembodied hands inspired by Velazquez’s portraits; the hands emerge from appropriately ornate sleeves, with some set against brilliant pools of deep-red pigment.
