Description: Austro/Hungarian sterling silver watch fob with 3 graduated size coins (Krone) suspended from interlocking silver chain. The first and second coins are in the denomination of 1 Krone, the last being a 2 Krone piece. The top coin is dated 1915, the second, 1 Krone coin bearing a reverse date 1848 and 1908, the bottom and largest being dated 1912.Each coins' face bears the profile of Kaiser Franz Josef the First, the best and last King to rule Austro/Hungary.
History: The Krone or korona was the official currency of the Austro-Hungarian Empire from 1892 until the dissolution of the Monarchy in 1918.
