EUROPEAN FREE-BLOWN AND DIAMOND-POINT ENGRAVED OPAQUE-TWIST STEM POKAL AND A COVER, colorless lead glass, round funnel bowl armorial crest above "ARMAT RT ORNAT" on front, "Engraved / By Thos Louder Dick 26th Regt / for / his Grandfather / Thos Broun Esqr / JOHNSTONBURN / XMASS / 1804" to reverse, raised on a stem containing a 19-ply spiral band interrupted by a facet-cut medial knop, conical foot with rough pontil mark. Together with a well-fitting cover having a pinched rim and applied finial with beaded knop. 18th century, early 19th century engraving. 15" HOA, 11 3/4" H rim, 5 1/4" D rim, 6" D foot.
