CONTINENTAL FREE-BLOWN AND ENGRAVED HEAVY BALUSTER POKAL, colorless non-lead glass, conical bucket bowl, one side with the imperial arms of Russia (crowned double-headed eagle, a shield depicting St. George slaying the dragon on its breast), the other side with military grouping including drums, cannon barrels, cannon balls, banners, swords, spears, and pikes, Russian inscription below rim, flute-cut base, raised on a cushioned solid knop and teared inverted baluster stem with facet cut knop, conical foot with foliate band and rough pontil mark. 18th century. 9 5/8" H, 3 1/4" D rim, 4" D foot.
