Magna Graecia, Southern Italy, ca. middle of the 4th century BCE. Very attractive pottery plaque or Protome featuring the Greek God of wine, women and song. Long beard, flowing robes and large flowers in his hair. A most attractive rendition! Size: 6-1/4" H (15.9 cm) + custom stand.
