China, Tang to Song (Sung) Dynasty, ca. 618 to 1279 CE. Rare early cream-glazed stoneware jar. Flared rim and foot with two ram's head applied at mid level along with two floral decorations. Size: 5" W x 6.25" H (12.7 cm x 15.9 cm)
Provenance: Ex-Paul and Louise Bernheimer, Cambridge, MA and Laguna Woods, CA, acquired before 1980.
