Description
Letter written and signed by the Admor. Approval nad recommendation. At the bottom is his signature and stamp, with an additional few words. He was the father of the Admor of Belz, born in Belz to his father Rabbi Isachar Dov Rokach, the 3rd Admor of the Belz dynasty, at age 25 he was crowned as rabbi of the city of Bilgoriya, during the Shoah he and his brother (Rabbi Aharon Rokach) fled from Belz, to a few countries in Europe, until they reached Budapest where they stayed until 1944, until the snuck into Israel after they were notified the Gestapo was following them and wanted the Hungarian government to turnt them over. In 1944 he reached Israel and settled in Tel Aviv. After he found out his wife and children were murdered, he remarried and an only son was born to him, Rabbi Isachar Dov Rockach, the current Belz Rebbe. Generally good condition, letter restored in the center with tape, with very slight damage ot the text, not significant.
