Four Wedgwood Parcel-Gilt and Bronzed Black Basalt Candlesticks

Late 18th/early 19th century

Each stamped "WEDGWOOD" and with additional letter and number marks to undersides, two with handwritten label "23793." (4).

H: 7 1/2 in.

PROVENANCE:

Private Collection, Yardley, Pennsylvania.

Condition

Some scratches, abrasions, and wear to surfaces, commensurate with age and light use. Some discoloration to bronzed decoration. Some rubbing to gilt and bronzed decoration, primarily concentrated to bases. Bases lined with fabric to prevent fritting. Some wax drippings present to candles. One with chip approx 0.25x0.25" to lip. One with some adhesive residue.
