LOUIS ICART (French 1888–1950) "Can-Can" and "Sofa" Etching and aquatint. Sight: 16 5/8 x 25 3/8 inches. Sight: 18 1/8 x 26 3/8 inches; Frame: 26 5/8 x 34 1/2 inches. Signed l/r and estate stamped l/l annotated upper left "Copyright 1933 by L. Icart Sty. N.Y". Signed l/r and estate stamped l/l. [CONDITION: In good overall condition. Not laid or cut down. Mat burn around entire image. Tape burn on all four corners where was taped at some point. Currently hinged at the top. There are no tears or abrasions to the image and the both have the proper markings in the lower left corner. "Can-Can" is unframed while "Sofa" is framed.]
