Magna Graecia, Southern Italy, ca. 340 BCE. Fragment from a very large hydria or amphora. Midsection of the vessel with the eve of a naiskos - which represents a tomb, scrolls and ovolo at top. Custom stand. Size: 7-1/2" W.
