John James Audubon (1785-1851). Antilope Americana- Plate LXXVII. A graceful lithograph of the Prong-Horned Antelope, hand-colored by J. T. Bowen and dated 1845, from the imperial folio edition of Audubon's The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America (Philadelphia: 1845-1848). Measures 27 x 21.25 inches. Light edge wear with small tears, small bends in the upper right corner, light dampstains with slight rippling along both side borders, minor smudges and stains not affecting central image. Else in very good condition.
