White, five backward-tipped fiddle handle examples marked "PITMAN" in rectangle, probably for a Providence, R.I. Maker, with monogram "DDS", and five forward-tipped fiddle handle examples marked for A. Coles, of New York, NY, with monogram "T+C." Total weight: 8.93 ozt. First half 19th century.
